Two sledges are freely available, as well as two headlamps for night sledging. You can go sledding right from the house, eg on the old Grindelwaldstrasse towards Lütschental toboggan down and then comfortably by train back to Burglauenen, or on the back of the house Run up the mountain road towards Wengen and toboggan right to the front door. A wonderful route is also through the snow-covered forest towards Hintisberg and down tobogganing over the snow-covered meadows. Of course you can also go to Grindelwald and for example on the longest toboggan run Europe's "Big Pintenfritz" dash down from the Faulhorn to the village. You can find more information here .
Our recommendation:
"The fondue backpack" can be ordered the day before at B'n'B. You get everything you need for the outdoor fondue experience. Take your rucksack with you, e.g. for sledding, and enjoy this fine traditional Swiss meal before your last descent.

Be it leisurely winter hikes on the panorama trails through snow-covered landscapes, surrounded by the most famous mountains in the world, or rather a fast-paced and adrenaline-charged one Toboggan run. Perhaps you have always dreamed of skiing on the world-famous ski racetracks. For those who like it a little more sporty, but not as fast as on a sledge or on skis, we recommend one of the wonderful, signposted snowshoe tours that Grindelwald offers. Our tip:
Are you still missing the right ski equipment or would you like to try out a new ski or snowboard? Do you still need suitable winter clothing or do you prefer to rent something? Visit the well-equipped Intersport in the new terminal with a very competent sales team.
